A slight bit of house envy

I love my Salford Quays apartment – it’s chic and modern, and so close to Manchester city centre that I can get there within 5 minutes by jumping on a tram. But yesterday I did experience a bit of house envy whilst at my friend’s “Bon Voyage” party. A very cute terrace with a garden featuring stone walls, sky blue wrought iron furniture and matching beach hut shed, it was the decoration and “accessorizing” of the house that I loved.

The centrepiece would have to be the gorgeous white wrought iron spiral staircase that they have installed – which, although is quite difficult to manoeuvre your way upstairs, just transforms the dining room.

Apart from that (which I wasn’t expecting and blew me away), the house was tastefully decorated in pale blue and white and accessorized with quirky girlie items, such as retro and wooden signs, a plethora of T light lanterns, a framed “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster. Suddenly I am inspired to shop online at The Contemporary Home!
