The gowns I’ve seen from the red carpet and parties of this year’s Cannes Film Festival have excited me more than any of the other events or awards ceremonies so far. There seems to be something about the chic French seaside location that brings out the best in red carpet fashion, and just looking at the gowns from the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala alone is a treat!
As I’ve been away for a few days (I’ve been in France myself, although Disneyland Paris is more of a childlike magical adventure than a sophisticated star-studded film festival) I thought I’d post quickly with three of my favourite looks worn by the ever-stylish Diane Kruger, all of which are feminine and pretty: Chanel at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala, Prabal Gurung at the Nights in Monaco gala and Nina Ricci at the Killing Them Softly premiere. Diane shows that is something about a white dress that really suits the Cannes events, and even more so when you involve appliqué, lace, feathers and floral embellishments. Lovely!
