A mini shopping spree

Enticed by the new Forever 21 store (opening today) I went down to the Trafford Centre today for a spot of shopping. It was really nice actually, as it doesn’t feel like I’ve really been let loose on the shops (or the sales) for a while.

I headed over to Forever 21 first, where the buzz they had created for the grand opening had obviously worked, and the queues for the changing rooms and tills were huge! I did get tempted though, and bought this practical-yet-stylish oversized bag, which will be great for work as well as for weekend, and this slouchy spotty oversized sweater, for relaxing around in at home. I also bought a few cheeky items of jewellery, as the accessories collection is pretty cool there. I do have a few photos of the new store, but will save those for another post.

I also bought this pretty lacey top for £12.99 in the Zara sale, with it’s own nod to the neon trend on the back, which I think adds a bit of an edge to a fairly feminine top. I’m thinking would look cute with some shorts and chunky heels on a night out.

On my travels I also picked up a black boyfriend blazer from River Island, and this pretty soft grey nail polish, Master Plan from Essie.

And finally, my outfit today was put together from items from last week’s trip to the London Forever 21 store (well, the denim shirt and chunky chain bracelet were from there anyway).
