Cocktails and cabaret

Last night I enjoyed a fab night out with some friends in Manchester. As is the case with all the best nights out, it wasn’t over-planned, I wasn’t expecting to be out late, and I ended up with hardly any decent photos! As such I’ve had to do a post-event still life outfit shot, as I don’t actually have any pics of me in it. How unorganised!

I wore my dipped hem, butterfly-print dress which I bought from Tesco some while ago, a black and gold skinny belt from Primark, my new Carvela boots which I now wear so often that they’ve already proven their value in terms of pence-per-wear, and a new gold chain friendship bracelet from Accessorize.

In short we started out at Simple Bar where we made the most of their meal deal and 2-for-1 cocktails at happy hour (I went for the gin and elderflower combos, with the English Garden Martini and then the Elderflower, which was like a really delicious lemonade), then popped into Odd Bar, and ended up at The Birdcage for some camp caberet and cheesy tunes. Amazing!
