Last week TK Maxx launched their brand new store on Parsonage Way Retail Park in Leigh and I went down to check it out.
I regularly visit two TK Maxx stores near my home and workplace, and love popping in as it always results in some fantastic unexpected finds. It’s never somewhere that springs to mind when I’m shopping for fashion, and yet, whenever I venture in there is always something I pick out. And this is more than true when it comes to homeware, which is my favourite department in the store as it’s always full of quirky, unique standout pieces for the home.
So it’s great to see them opening up new stores up here in the North West. When I arrived at the new Leigh store the team told me that they’d had a fantastic reception from the community, with massive queues appearing early in the morning as customers queued to be the first through the door with the chance to pick up £10 gift cards, and then it was constantly busy for the rest of the day.
It’s not surprising really – I think TK Maxx is going from strength to strength. They always have plenty of designer and branded shoes and accessories in store, plus it’s a great place to pick up branded menswear too. Then on top of that are all the fun, unique pieces that they stock too – which is always my favourite thing about TK Maxx.
This new store didn’t disappoint and was filled with both branded and quirky pieces that caught my eye. Here are just a couple of cheeky things that I picked up for the summer while I was in there.
