For me January is fashion limbo. Now that Christmas and New Year are over I’ve had more than enough of sequins, jewel tones and black, but I’m also not quite ready for the pastels, brights and prints that I’m looking forward to for Spring/Summer. Somehow this makes me feel as though I have nothing to wear (you know the feeling) and that I would really like to buy something new.
I have decided that the ideal item would be a shift dress that could be worn with opaque tights and the shoe boots that I received for Christmas, and could possibly carry across into early spring. My favourite picks are below, and I reckon that Dorothy Perkins wins with quite a few lovely dresses which will work now (with the tights and shoe boots) and also for Spring, with a pair of heels.
