This lovely weather is the perfect excuse spending the day outdoors, and also to break in my birthday picnic hamper. Look how cute it is with it’s pink trim! It’s designed for two, so as you can see it was jam packed for today’s picnic for four! We went to Haigh Hall Country Park in Wigan laden with pate and crusty baguettes, pink lemonade, melton mowbray pork pies, Battenberg, grapes and strawberries, and sat on the grass to enjoy the sun (while it lasts)!
We also strolled through the Country Park grounds, the woods and the canalside.
I’m wearing a cute new sundress, which was a bit of an emergency “I don’t own enough clothes for this sunny weather” buy, and my peaches and cream leather Grafea backpack, which I just love. It’s so cute for daytrips like this.
