Slogan tees are so popular this summer and last weekend I was introduce to the brand Rock on Ruby at the Manchester Blogger Meet. They have the most amazing selection of slogan tops including a Mean Girls range as well as a fairytales range, which are both right up my street. I also love that they have a bespoke service, where for a similar price you can create an entirely unique slogan/ quote tee or vest. The possibilities are endless!
Anyway it got me thinking about how I’d style a slogan tee, and here are the looks I created with my 3 favourite Rock on Ruby tops.
Outfit 1: Style With a Dressy Skirt
I like seeing super-casual tops, like this Mean Girls quote vest, contrasted completely with something feminine and dressy, like this Santorini print skirt – which by the way, I adore! What says summer better than a Greek island landscape printed on your outfit?!

Outfit 2: Pair With a Striped Pencil Skirt
My striped pencil skirt is now a wardrobe essential for me – I wear it all the time! Pairing it with any tee makes a lovely relaxed daytime look, and what better than a fairytale villain slogan tee? I also love this Grafea floral rucksack, which is an updated version of a Grafea rucksack I already have, and I think those florals are gorgeous!

Outfit 3: Style with Printed Shorts
For summer days in the sun I think this mermaid slogan top would be paired perfectly with these very cute palm print shorts from H&M. Can you have too many pretty pieces in one outfit? I don’t think so.

What do you think of slogan tops, and how would you style one?

Great blog, great looks!
I used to love slogan tees in the 90’s but for some reason sort of forgot about them. I’ve been eyeing up a few in Affleks but they were a little too goth. I love these though!
Great idea mixing casual slogan tees with something a little dressy and feminine.
outfit 2 my fave combo!
