The Handmade Christmas Fair is Coming to Manchester

Christmas is well and truly on my radar now, and as someone with an interest in crafting I was really excited to find out that Kirsty Allsopp is bringing a festive version of her Handmade Fair event to Manchester!

The Handmade Christmas Fair will be held at Manchester Central across 3 days from 20th-22nd November, and as well as a craft market full of festive stalls selling handmade items (the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping), there will be loads of sessions and workshops teaching you the skills and techniques for some lovely Christmas-themed makes.

You can buy entrance-only tickets, or if you upgrade to the Full Experience ticket you get to attend one each of the 3 session types – and there are plenty to choose from!

Included in this price you get the following three sessions, including all the materials you’ll need and you get to take home everything you make!:

  • One Super Theatre session – choose from a selection of Christmas tutorials and demos, from Christmas cocktails and gingerbread houses to gift wrapping and Christmas wreaths.
  • One Skills Workshop – learn a new technique whilst creating something festive to take home – there are loads to choose from, ranging from decorations to family crafts and gift wrap ideas.
  • One Grand Make – get crafty making something to take home whilst in the company of loads of other crafters! Including papercut cards, felt baubles and Christmas Robin decorations.

£20 for a lovely day of festive crafting and shopping sounds pretty good to me!

T&Cs: Booking and transaction fees apply. Offer applies to Full Experience tickets purchased in advance only and offer ends 21st November.
