Monday was my 28th birthday (eek!) and as this week was my last in my current job I didn’t get chance to book the day off work. It was a nice day though, with a card and a present from my colleagues, and even a home-made flapjack wrapped in parchment, tied up with string and a sprig of Thyme.
Still, it was nice to get home and enjoy a few glasses of Prosecco and a delicious slice of Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Blueberry & Vanilla Cheesecake. Even nicer was the lovely selection of gifts from my boyfriend, parents and sister, which took my mind off the fact that I am now only 2 years away from the 30 milestone.

RHA Limited Edition Couture Headphones from my parents. I needed some big comfortable headphones for watching films and TV on my laptop, and I’d seen this pretty pair on a couple of my favourite blogs. My parents also got me some Disney DVDs!

Jewelled collar, also from my sister. Looks great with a plain tee, as I wore it here for dinner and drinks last night.
