One of the things I really wanted to do when I started blogging was to share Manchester events and other things that are going on in the Manchester area, because there’s actually loads of stuff if you look for it, and sometimes you don’t find out until it is too late. I’ve just come across this ethical fashion event next Thursday, which may be of interest to many of you who are local to the area, and hopefully I’ll also get chance to check it out!
Revamped! An evening of Fashion and Music will be showcasing how stylish and relevant ethical fashion can be, with a catwalk show featuring five of the region’s ethical designers and boutiques (inlcuding J’adore Vintage Clothing, Beaumont Organic and Love Me Again). There will also be music and dance from local acts, stalls from the featured designers and mini workshops in how to make your own jewellery and how to revamp your old clothes. Sounds delightful!
Revamped will be held at The Met (Market Street, Bury) on Thursday 5th July 2012. Doors open (with the market and workshop) at 6.30pm, and the catwalk show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 from The Met box office.
