Bluebells and paper ships

I’m speechless after coming across Kirsty Mitchell’s magical series of photographs “Wonderland”. If you haven’t had the sheer joy of seeing them, here is just a snippet of the beautiful, fantasy world that she has shot in woodland in Surrey.

This is photographic storytelling at it’s best, and I adore her atmospheric scenes with weird and wonderful storybook characters, fantastical costumes and makeup set against glorious English woodland.
