I love having a nosey at everyone else’s Christmas trees. Everyone has such different tastes so it’s fun to see the personal touches they add. I like mine to be filled with all different kinds of unique ornaments, and try to pick up new ones each year. I love that I have a mix of old and new ornaments, and so many of them have a little story behind them.
So I thought I’d share some of my favourite ornaments with you. I’ve got several traditional style ones…
I made this cinnamon decoration myself using real cinnamon sticks, and the cute deer is a real golden oldie – it was one of my Grandma’s!
I picked this up this star from a Christmas market in Dusseldorf
Cute peg snowman!
One of my latest additions – from Oxfam
I have a lot of love for my rustic felt Santa tree topper!
My DIY gingerbread ornaments – see tutorial here
And I also like pretty, glittering magical decorations too!
Gisela Graham glass ornament
So cute! This was a gift from a friend about ten years ago!
Lovely ballerina tutu bought from the Lowry theatre shop
And I just love this pretty Disney ornament – straight from Disneyland Paris!
Our tree is a mixture of vintage glass, patinated decs and childrens artwork – we’ve also got Mary poppins, sleeping beauty & tinkerbell from Disney in florida that my 4 girls insisted on! Quite an eclectic mix!
Lovely! Disney ornaments are a great addition 🙂
