My Fabulous Festive Photo Shoot and a Christmas Giveaway

I recently enjoyed a fantastic Christmas-themed photo shoot at Manchester-based studio Andrew Wood Photography, and here are some of the festive results. As you can see I’m not one to scrimp on Christmas and I went for full-on cozy Christmas knits!

Once I’d booked in for my shoot and discussed my festive theme in advance, I turned up on the day and enjoyed a glass of bubbly whilst makeup artist and hair stylist Rebecca captured my Christmas vision with soft curls and vintage makeup. Then I headed into the different rooms of the studio which were set up with all the different backgrounds and props that would best suit my styling and theme. Before I started I was worried I’d be really awkward as I’m not a natural in front of a camera, but my photographer Kayleigh made it really easy by giving me loads of creative direction, so I had a really fun time! And it was a great confidence boost too!

And now as it’s the season of giving I am launching a giveaway to win a photo shoot at Andrew Wood Photography. One lucky winner and two runners up will be able to choose their own photo shoot theme with the Andrew Wood team – it certainly doesn’t need to be a festive one like mine as they do all sorts, from fashion shoots to vintage boudoir shoots or even quirky cosplay.

Terms: Please note that Andrew Wood photography studio is based in Manchester so you’ll need to be able to get there for your photo shoot if you’re a winner (handily there’s actually now a Metrolink stop right outside). Booking the shoot requires a refundable deposit of £25, which you get back on the day (this is just because hair stylists and photographers are brought in especially for you!) and viewing of the shots takes place on a separate appointment.
