Lush Face Mask: Brazened Honey

It’s a happy day when you finally have 5 empty Lush pots to exchange for a free fresh face mask! Having collected mine over many months I went in to select a lovely new face mask as my freebie reward and had Brazened Honey highly recommended to me by the girl in store so I decided to go with that one.

(and my empties!)

5 empty Lush pots

Jam packed with fresh ingredients, this face mask is an exfoliating one and is also great for detoxifying thanks to the fennel and ginger. It also contains refreshing lime juice, eggs, honey and almond oils for moisturising.

I’ve been applying generously the mask before getting in the bath and leaving on for about 10 minutes, during which time it does make my skin tingle a little whilst it dries (though not uncomfortably). Rubbing/rinsing the mask off is when the exfoliation takes place, and I have been making sure to do this only gently due to having sensitive skin.

Due to the short shelf life on the Lush fresh products I’ve been using this face mask 2 or 3 times a week, and it’s been particularly amazing on tired skin after a night out. I think it will easily do 10+ uses, which would make the price of £6.50 well worth it, but it’s an even greater treat knowing that this was a freebie!

There are so many positive reviews of this product online, and I can see why. The scent isn’t amazing but the results are great so I have no issue with that! It really has brightened and refreshed my skin, and is the perfect skin treat for hangover pampering days.
