As someone with very pale skin I think it is really important to protect my skin from the sun all year round and now the sun has started to shine I have started to add extra protection underneath my SPF15 BB cream – this Make Yourself Youthful: Sunshield Superfluid SPF50+ from Soap & Glory.
I was actually looking for something around SPF 30 (based on advice I received last time I had a facial) but was really happy to find this product from the skincare range of cruelty-free brand Soap & Glory. It’s a great sunscreen with SPF50+ and UVA/UVB protection, and it works really well preventing my fair skin from burning on sunny days as well as being a daily protector against the sun’s aging rays.
But it’s also great because it’s not just a sunscreen, it’s a skincare product designed to be used on top of moisturiser and under makeup. It is a very thin, runny fluid which applies as a light, sheer sun protection without that stickiness or shine you’d normally get with sun cream.
I love knowing that it’s an anti-aging skincare product with vitamin C and E and no parabens, and it also works nicely as a primer that evens my skin tone before I apply any makeup. It’s not particularly cheap at £15 for 30ml but I really like it for summer, and will definitely be rebuying it.

I’m awful at applying spf – I always forget and they can sometimes irritate my eczema 😦

I agree, it’s so important to apply SPF but I always forget oops! I absolutely love S&G products so I’ll have to give this one a try! (:

This product looks awesome! I love day creams but some get a bit greasy and don’t hold make up, so I think I might actually have to try this out! 🙂
The sounds FAB. I would never have thought about looking at Soap and Glory for an SPF? I got a clarions one for around £30 (bit pricey but lasts forever) so £15 is worth it for such high SPF! xx
I actually took this product to Australia with me and I must say, it is THE best face sun scream I have used. So many are really greasy but this one sinks in and best of all, I didn’t burn (and I’m a pale redhead!)
