Paul Mitchell is one of my absolute favourite salon haircare brands (if you want to know why, just read this article about their decision not to sell into the Chinese market), and as I’m growing my hair I decided to invest in some products from the Paul Mitchell Strength range to help keep my longer hair in great condition.
This Strength range is designed to rebuild damaged hair from within and help seal split ends as well as protecting against further damage with improved elasticity and UV protection, and I have been using the Super Strong Daily Conditioner as my regular conditioner and replacing it once a week with the Super Strong Treatment. I’m using both products in the same way – applying on clean damp hair and leaving on for 5 minutes before rinsing off. And I have also been using the Paul Mitchell Heat Seal spray (from his Soft Style range) whenever I’m straightening or curling my hair. (Protection from heat is very important too!)
Overall I’m really pleased with the results from using these products. My hair feels soft, healthy and looks like it is in great condition. I can even tell the difference as soon as I’m rinsing the products out – especially with the deep treatment! The smell is lovely actually – the sort of smell you’d expect from a hair salon – and I feel like my hair growth is in safe hands with these strengthening and protecting products. They’re not cheap, but I got a good deal from Look Fantastic so I’m very happy with my investment!
