Just a quick post about what I wore for a few drinks in Manchester’s Northern Quarter with friends last night. I got this blouse from Bank’s Ribbon Luxe range about a month ago when I saw it reduced to £15… I love the contrast sleeves and asymmetric hemline, and because it feels good quality and has the pretty embellished collar, it was a complete bargain!
I went straight from work, so this is a day-to-night outfit (although I swapped into the shirt from the jumper I was wearing – sequins possibly a bit much for a Friday in the office!), and the night took us for unusual pizzas in Dough (my choice – salmon teriyaki!), cocktails in Socio Rehab, karaoke in The Unicorn (we made a social faux pas by singing Christmas songs in November!) and also tried out the new Terrace Bar, with it’s stylish bare brick walls. Good times!
