Passion for Fashion 2: Spring/Summer

In another attempt to win those lucrative Passion for Fashion prizes, here are my 3 spring/summer looks styled for under £200 (all with plenty of the budget to spare actually)…

Party outfit: £138

My party outfit is based around the fact that I’d always rather show my legs than any other part of myself, and think that a pair of stylish dressy shorts makes a fab party look.

I love these pretty lace shorts from H&M, and have dressed them up with a monochrome print vest and heels. I reckon the only way to wear monochrome is with touches of neon, so have accessorised with neon yellow and found this great nail polish too. I love these heels for doing it all!

Holiday wear: £159.60

I couldn’t post a holiday outfit without some pretty swimwear, and I’m a little bit obsessed with Minkpink’s range. The cut out swimsuit I’ve picked accounts for quite a chunk of the budget, but I love the shape and the pretty print. I’ve also gone for a simple jersey maxi dress for relaxed holiday style and some cute sandals. Add to that a pop of colour with sunglasses and a versatile and practical satchel bag, and I’m good to go.

Casual look: £111.96

My casual outfit is all about relaxed style, and is based around wardrobe staples that can be mixed with other pieces too, so will be excellent value for money in the long run. I’ve gone for boyfriend cut jeans, made pretty with some feminine metallic ballet flats. I’ve also gone for a cheeky stripe clash with a neon/grey striped top paired with a cute monochrome striped scarf, which adds a bit of interest to quite a laidback outfit. I also love these chunky metal hair clips for adding something extra to a messy pony tail.
