If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter you may have seen my updates from the Manchester Arndale After Dark event last Thursday (#MAAfterDark). Honestly this was such a fun event and such a great way to start the Christmas party season, and I’ve been really excited to post some of the images on here!
The event was all about party dresses, and all the lovely bloggers in the photo above were allocated a different Manchester Arndale retailer to choose a perfect party dress from in advance of the event. As you can see, everyone’s choices were fab and quite different, which just goes to show that we all have our own party style!
When we turned up on the night our glam dresses were all hung up waiting for us, and we all had mini makeovers alongside a champagne reception and Hotel Chocolat canapés.
You may have seen in my previous post that my retailer was Quiz, who are amazing for party dresses. My chosen dress was this cute black and white skater style with a gorgeous sparkly black velvet flock print, which I thought looked like a Christmas present with the big bow, and so much more expensive than it’s £30 price tag! I paired it with these amazing glitzy earrings (also from Quiz) and my own gladiator heels.
And then, excitingly, the amazing @Dom_and_Ink was there to illustrate us in our party looks! I’ve always wanted my own personal fashion illustration, and I’m in love with the result!

The final part of the evening saw a team of judges, including Victoria from InTheFrow, pick their favourite ten looks from the evening.
