My Christmas Decorations – New for 2014

The Christmas countdown is well underway and my decorations are finally up! Every year I try to add pieces to my collection, and here are some of my 2014 newbies…

  • On the tree

My gorgeous glitter Mickey Mouse head and this cute Bambi are both from my 30th birthday trip to Disneyland Paris in May. I love Disney souvenir Christmas decorations!

And the other new addition to my tree is this cute Christmas word garland, which was not easily positioned across the branches, but looks really effective now that I’ve found the perfect spot.

  • Vintage Santa

This vintage Santa poster is actually a piece of wrapping paper from Paperchase – just £1 in the sale last year – which I’ve framed with a low-cost simple black frame from The Range. I love the festive vintage-ness of it, and it really changes the room for Christmas!

  • Ho Ho candle holders

And finally, these cute Ho Ho bucket tealight holders are just something cute and cheap from last year’s sales (from Morrisons I think), but I think they’ll look good on a bookshelf.

Does anyone else add new pieces every year?

  1. I like to get ornaments for the tree whenever I go on holiday. This year I have been to Iceland so I bought a bauble from Reykjavik, an Icelandic pony and a Yule Cat ( Icelandic Christmas but rather grumpy folk tale kitty) for the tree.:)
