On Saturday the sun was shining around Manchester so it seemed like a perfect opportunity for a walk around Salford Quays. I’m glad we made the most of it while it lasted as Sunday was a bit of a washout, and even though it was actually quite blustery I still got chance to do some outfit snaps in my new classic leather sandals from GAP. I originally saw these on Instagram and knew I wanted a pair for summer as they’re so flippin’ versatile – they’ll go with everything! They also come in brown and white so I had a hard time choosing which would go with most outfits, and then trying to restrain myself from buying two colours, but I think I made the right choice.

It’s on sunny days like this that I really love living by the Quays! What could be better than a waterside walk in the sunshine?
